Hong Kong - Xiamen High Speed Train
On preventing the rapid spread of corona virus, the Hong Kong - Xiamen high speed trains have been temporarily stopped. The reopen time is unknown yet.
Four pairs of high speed trains are in service from Hong Kong to Xiamen and from Xiamen to Hong Kong. Their travel time is around 4 - 4.5 hours with the running distance of around 554 kilometers (344 miles). The ticket price of first class seat is around CNY 410, and that of second class seat is about CNY 255.
Passengers also can make a transfer in Shenzhen for more high speed trains. The whole transferring journey needs about 4.5 - 5 hours and costs CNY237 - 268.5 totally for a second class seat.

It is a pity that my trip of Xiamen to Wuyishan could not be changed. We do not know that we cannot make change online if we collected paper tickets out. Therefore, my suggestion to other travelers is that please do not pick up the paper tickets in advance in case there will be any change.
